Pool Not Holding Chemical Levels Video

Frank demonstrates a common issue he sees with pool autofill systems in this quick video. If a pool will not maintain a stabilizer level, calcium hardness, salt, and chlorine levels, that is a very good indicator that the pool is losing water. This can be due to either a leak in the pool or the pool autofill being stuck open and constantly diluting the pool water with fill water if a pool with an autofill system leaks. The autofill will hide it because it continually keeps the pool full. The quickest indicator that a pool with an autofill is either leaking or overfilling is maintaining water chemistry can become very difficult. CYA or Stabilizer and calcium hardness typically remain in the water and do not drop quickly. Typically, the only way these two readings will drop is through dilution.
